| Beyond 1999 |

So I pretty much put the whole travelogue-writing thing on hiatus after 1999, because as I was living abroad anyway I thought it would get a bit too pedestrian. If only I'd kept at it I suppose I could claim some sort of travel blogging crown. I like to think my 1998 effort, posting live from the road, was an early sort of blog, but who's kidding whom? It was just fun.
In any case, I've altered the way I document my travels now. Ever since 1999, and especially 2000 when I got my first digital camera, I've been enthusiastically posting all my photos, travel and otherwise, on Mortalcoil.com. There's no text to go with them, but you can certainly get a feel for what kind of traveling I've done by the photos therein.
